What is Wellbeing Coaching?

I see coaching sessions as “soul conversations” where, through talking and listening, we focus on inner narratives. We explore the connection between your narratives, thoughts and emotions and how this may impact your behaviour and how you live your life. On this level we consider which shifts you desire.

Learning to listen to oneself is the foundation to making meaningful changes to how you think, feel and behave. It requires careful attention and setting of intentions as your insights and understanding of your own life stories develop. From this quiet space you begin to make the changes that you desire and feel right for you.

You decide where to start and set the pace of the sessions. My responsibility is to guide you in setting goals and to work with you towards the shifts you desire. It is about learning to counsel yourself to a healthy way of thinking by acknowledging your unique strengths and talents. In this way you begin to live your life with greater authenticity, comfort and ease.

It is all about developing a mindset of abundance and positivity to live life with greater contentment and connection! Through wellbeing coaching there is an opportunity to embark on a journey of self-exploration of inner stories, thoughts and emotions. You learn to identify narratives that prevent you from living a fulfilled life and to welcome your inner voice. Through mindful problem-solving you learn to pay attention and set intentions that will allow you to live your life with greater harmony, balance and peace.

What to expect during a wellbeing coaching session

Coaching sessions are done on-line via Zoom in a one-to-one setting. Sessions will be 60 minutes long. The coaching process adopts a systematic conversational approach with guidance that you can experiment with and should you wish, apply in your daily life. The sessions are compassionately adapted to your individual needs.

During the sessions

  • You present the issue/s you wish to address. In follow-up sessions we review shifts you have made since the previous session.
  • We explore the narratives you have around this issue as well as the thoughts and emotions associated with it.
  • The focus is always on compassionately making shifts that are comfortable for you.
  • I will suggest strategies that you can experiment with and exercises that you can do between sessions. If you are comfortable with it, I may use Tarot cards, Oracle cards and meditation strategies as additional ways of exploring the issue and providing supportive strategies.
  • The aim is for you to adopt practices that will bring you joy and contentment allowing you to live your life to the full.

Important Disclaimer

Please note that wellbeing coaching sessions are not psychotherapy or counselling sessions. If you are suffering from mental health issues your GP, psychiatrist or psychologist is your first line of intervention. The sessions I offer are supportive in nature and most definitely do not take the place of medical/psychiatric or of clinical psychological intervention.

I am happy to set up a short zoom meeting to discuss the wellbeing coaching process and questions you may have. This will provide you with the opportunity to see if this coaching is a good fit for you while I gain insight into what your goals are. This initial contact is not a pre-requisite to the coaching process. If you wish, you can book a coaching session without the exploration discussions.

Wellbeing Coaching sessions are 50-60 minutes long and the cost is £40 per session.

Important booking information

  • Sessions are on-line via Zoom.
  • Upon booking and after payment you will receive a video call link to your e-mail address.
  • You will need to download Zoom (free) before your session. You can download to your smart phone, tablet or computer.
  • I do understand that there may be occasions when you cannot attend a session you have booked. You are able to re-schedule a session up to 12 hours in advance. Failure to re-schedule or missed sessions are non-refundable.
  • Please ensure that you set uninterrupted time aside for the session.
